The Consulate General of Hungary - Los Angeles participated in the International Commemoration Series, entitled 70 for 70, and displayed the poster of the Oscar contender and multi-award-winning documentary, TORN FROM THE FLAG. The Series pays homage to the 70th anniversary of the 1956 Hungarian Revolution and the Polish October, as well as celebrate the 35th anniversary of the end of the Cold War and the fall of the Soviet Union. Multi-award-winning film director, Klaudia Kovács, released her presentation at the Hungarian Heritage Expo 2025 online. The talk celebrates Hungarian heritage and culture, and presents her brainchild the “70 for 70 Commemoration Series” dedicated to the upcoming 70th anniversary of the Hungarian Revolution of 1956 through the lens of her Oscar-contender documentary, TORN FROM THE FLAG.
